Estimate your return on Codly
See what each Codly plan is worth on a cloud like yours — engineer hours given back, cloud waste removed, payback and 3-year ROI. Start with your resource count; every assumption below can be changed.
1Your environment
Annual cloud spend: -
2Plan
Plans are cumulative — each adds modules to the one before. Compare plans
3How conservative?
Share of saved engineer hours counted as value (redeployed to projects or hiring avoided). Cloud savings always count in full.
4Rates and module assumptions
Volumes scale with your resource count until you edit them.
5Risk avoided optional

How the estimate is calculated
Open, simple arithmetic — the same model our team walks through in customer workshops.
Engineer hours given back
For each module: volume per month × time saved × fully loaded hourly cost × 12. Volumes scale with your resource count. Only the share set by your scenario counts as value.
Hard savings
FinOps removes a share of cloud waste from your annual spend (10% by default), plus the licence cost of any tools Codly lets you retire. These count in full.
ROI and payback
Costs are one-time setup plus subscription from month one. Benefits start after go-live. Year-1 ROI = (benefit − cost) ÷ cost; payback is the month cumulative benefit overtakes cumulative cost.
This calculator gives an indicative estimate for discussion, not a commitment or guarantee of results. Actual outcomes depend on your environment, processes and adoption. Risk-avoidance benefits are excluded unless you include them.

About the ROI calculator
Where do the default numbers come from?
From the ROI model our team uses in customer workshops, scaled to the number of resources you enter. For 200 resources it assumes, for example, 100 service requests and 500 tickets a month, four audits a year and 10% cloud waste. Change any of them to match your environment.
Why is only part of the saved time counted?
Saved hours are only worth money when they are redeployed to other work or avoid new hiring. The Expected scenario counts 80%; Conservative counts 60%; Optimistic counts all of it.
Are the prices final?
No. They are indicative list prices by plan and size. Your quote is confirmed after a free assessment and can be procured through AWS Marketplace.
